Welcome to the J-35 Class Association,

It's that time of year again to renew your membership in the JCA. With the support that our membership provides, the Officers and Board of Governors are committed to providing the support and services that continue to keep the J-35 fleet thriving. To list just a few of the many services the JCA provides its members:

  • Maintaining the J-35 Class Rules and Constitution
  • Maintaining the J-35 web site
  • District and fleet organization
  • Class and event promotion
  • Promote the expansion of the J/35 class
  • Maintain the one design characteristics of the J/35
  • Sponsorship of the annual J-35 North American Championship Regatta
  • Maintaining and shipment of the NA Championship Trophy, as well as the JCA class float line templates, awards, and other merchandize.

Our Board of Governors with the help of the JCA Technical Committee just completed a comprehensive evaluation and update of the J-35 Constitution and Class Rules. Booklets are being sent to every J-35 owner we can track down. Hopefully, all will join the JCA.

We have made great gains in solidifying the structure of our districts and fleets adding several new fleet captains and District Governors. The new blood is a welcome addition. Although Steve Clarke remains District Governor in the New England area, he has stepped down as Treasurer. We thank him for the many years he has served as an officer of the JCA, and congratulations to our newly elected Treasurer, Bob Arzbaecher.

Hopefully, you have noticed the continuing improvement to our web site www.j35.org. Now hosting an updated digital roster, information sections, and a robust discussion thread.

Our board and officers now numbering 11, volunteer their time and efforts to promote and support you, the J-35 owners throughout the world. Please show them your support by submitting your membership application today.
